Mark - I assume you mean withOUT SLS, another one the look out for is cocamidopropyl betaine, you don't want that in your mough either. Check the list of ingredients on Biotene, I believe they have changed the formulation recently.

For mouth ulcers, try use Biotene toothpaste (or a toothpaste with SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate)). It worked for me.

I recenty suffered a break up, and suddenly sores under my tongue arrived, and were followed shortly by a lump under my arm. I was very stressed when they arrived, but they went in a matter of seven days. Seven months later the sores arrived again under and at the sides of my tongue and a lump under my arm followed just as the sores became less painful. I have not been to the doctors yet, but bought some Gengigel for my tongue. I think being run down and stress is a symptom. I did also think I had a serious desease, but I am a total paranoid. Thanks for this page.

I was doing research on swollen lymph glands under my arms and came across this page. If you are one of the many people who have posted about ulcers and swollen lymph nodes, it is a good possibility that you have celiac disease. I'm no doctor but I also have it and I deal with those any quite a few other symptoms. One strange thing about celiac is that not every body gets the gastro intestinal issues that typically are associated with a gluten intolerance. My stomach never hurts, but i do however get painful bumps on my skin, canker sores and swollen lymph nodes, dry eyes and sore muscles. One easy to decide for yourself if you have a gluten intolerance issue is stop eating wheat for two weeks, replace all your simple carb intake with rice products. If you feel better and your skin and cankers clear up, its a pretty good indicator or what is likely your issue. I can give additional information or point you in the right direction if this is something that you think you need to look further into. ttocsdrallab@gmail.com

If you have a fever blister can the fever blister cause a lymph node to be swollen?

I am now figuring out that this weird feeling in the neck is probably a swolen lymphnode/gland that comes when I have a mouth ulcer. I've had mouth ulcers for over 30 years but am just now getting the swolen gland thing. Hmmm.

It might be worthwhile reading-up on something called Ēdermatitis herpetiformisĒ that is a complication of celiac disease (gluten intolerance) along with canker sores/mouth ulcers.

i donít get swollen lymph nodes with sores, but i do get glandular fevers and serios swelling. but i have an auto-immune disease that has to do with neutrophils- a phagocycotic (sp? :) ) white blood cell, and everytime i go to the Dr. she checks under my arms... canker sores are linked to some autoimmune diseases and Dr.s are real pains in the @**es about not taking canker sores seriously. My advice- go to a hematologist and tell them about your symptoms. I did and finally got diagnosed when they checked out my white blood cell level. Go for it Nicole!

I get swollen lymph nodes in the neck when I get ulcers, particularly when they are near the back of the mouth or under the tongue. Iíve never checked under the arms, but will do so.

I too suffer from lumps under the arms just like you guys anmd I also get ulcers in the mouth. My doctor didnt seem worried and said they are an infection and gave me a course of Flucloxacillin to take. Apparently it clears up skin and soft tissue infections - just taken first tab this morning so will let you know how it works. Docsays though he gets patients all the time with this prob but its just one of those things that will prob kepp coming back. Oh well at least we are not alone.

I have suffered from swollen glands under the arm for the past 5 years. They tend to appear when Iím stressed or run down, I have been a student and found them worse around exam time. I went to the doctor who told me it was an infection he wasnít very concerned! Which is fine- but they can be so painful! It hurts to pick things up. The lump is hard to the touch, but feels kind of fluidy. I have always suffered from mouth ulcers, but havenít noticed before if the 2 occur together. It sounds to me like a classic case of being run down. Extra vitamins and more water of course help. My tips are to try cold showers or bath! yes, it stimulates lymph flow around the body and stops it clogging up in the glands. I do this regularly its quite invigorating! if you shave underarm change your razor regularly. Use a roll on deoderent that has a high alcohol content- yes it stings a little! but the astringent kills infection. The cheaper liquidy type ones are the best, I find the creamy deoderents are the worse for making lumps- I think they block the pores. Massage and yoga also stimulate lymph flow, massage the underarm in a circular motion and a body massage is also great!I have encorporated both into my life and have much better health. I donít think for one minute you have herpes, I suffered from this before I became sexually active. I still get ulcers and lumps but not half as often or as sore. Everyone has different side effects from being run down this is ours! Hope you feel better soon.

Does anyone else get swollen lymph glands under their arms while they have ulcers? I have had these recurrent ulcers for the last 2.5 months now. I get 4 or 5 ulcers at once that take about 2 weeks to clear up and within a week I get a new lot coming up. For the last week or so I have had a few lumps under my arms. One of them had a head and when squeezed, came out yellowish fluid and some blood. Would these be related to my ulcers? I cannot get seem to get rid of these ulcers. The doctor seems to think they will run their course (however long that is) and should go away on their own. I keep thinking that I am suffering from herpes or something, even though my husband and I donít ahve genital herpes or anything. They just came on all of a sudden and I donít know why. Does anyone else get swollen lumps under their arms? Please help.
