Any connection between mouth ulcers and blood glucose levels andor insulin?

I used to suffer from mouth ulcers every 2 weeks...then started keto diet ...the ulcers vanished for 4 months , then I started low carb diet and just added fruits and once I ate pasta very few, I started to have ulcers again ...I do not know is it gluten in pasta or something with insulin level that started to rise a little bit when I stoped the Keto and started to add some carbs to my diet .

I just was diagnosed as a type 1 and ever since I started taking insulin I have noticed I have been getting canker sores. I am not positive of the connection, but I am obviously searching for this info as well. Any info I find I will post back

My mom is having chronic, severe mouth sores. We thought at first it was a food allergy, but it happens even when she eats the blandest of foods. She takes insulin once or twice a day, and I'm beginning to think maybe the mouth sores are connected to her blood sugar levels or the insulin itself.

Has anyone else noticed this or made a connection between the two? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
