Bacitracin or Neosporin

I suffer from recurring Canker sores. I have tried many of the things that I see on this message board but to no avail. But, I recently tried applying some bacitracin (kind of like neosporin) on a Q-tip and then putting a dab of the ointment on the canker before I go to bed. Although the ointment says: not for internal use- I don’t think that the small amount will hurt. Anyway, the canker is virtually gone in the morning. Let me know if anyone else has results.

So we have recommendations for...
a topical antibiotic - effective against gram-positive bacteria, including strains of staphylococcus.
aerobic oxygen - which supposedly kills anaerobic bacteria.
probiotic supplements - which boost the amount of ’good’ bacteria.
...makes you think that (even if not the cause) harmful bacteria could be playing a significant role in the development of mouth ulcers.

Yes! Suffered all my life, and I'm becoming an expert. Also use Folic Acid, B Vitamins, and Lysine for your mouth. Too much sugar is a cause as well, so get Candida Support with caprylic acid in it. That all helps a lot. Also, the acyclovir that is for shingles, greatly reduces them as well, it is an antiviral. They are at least therefore partially viral, because IT WORKS WELL.

I've placed it (bacitracin) on the sore this morning, and it feels better already.
