Hello,
I usually get mouth ulcers but they go away within a few days if I eat properly, take my vitamins, and do a few mouth rinses. However, I recently developed about 6-7 mouth ulcers (including covering the back of my throat -- painful indeed!) that will heal only to be replaced by other ones at a different area. I've been under some stress as I'm starting a new job and moving; however, I've had about 7 in my mouth at one time for the past 3 weeks. I went to the doctor and he had no clue, but prescribed me an antibacterial mouthwash that numbs the pain. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I've tried everything and am so tired of the pain. |

| It could be a sign of an autoimmune disorder. I have been mismanaged and misdiagnosed for the past 5 months because my dentist and doctor weren't familiar. My internist recommended an oral surgeon, who took biopsies. If you don' get an answer you are comfortable with, KEEP ON IT! I thought I was going to go nuts because it hurt so bad. |
