 ulcer on tongue taste bud 5 messages in this subject

I have had mouth ulcers since I was a little kid, now 57. I have had them on gums, tongue, throat, and tonsils.
sometimes I get a very small one on a taste bud near the front of my tongue that makes the bud pop up. It looks like a little white pin head. Of course when we get something like this in our mouth we can't help but play with it to try and releive the pain, I was pinching it with a twezzer and to my surprise it came off and with it went the pain. It was like a instant cure and the spot healed within hours. I only wish I could dig out the ulcers. I almost get some sick satisfaction by fighting back and attacking ulcers by rubbing salt into them. It as if to say you want a fight ill give you a fight you little SOB. In my mind I picture the virus running away from the sight and retreating into the spine where they say it lives. Anyone out there crazy enough to try a burning one out with a solder iron? I don't have the guts to try but let me know if you do. How about laser anyone think that might work? How about sulferic acid on a q-tip? This is war and we have to win! Sorry these things are making me crazy LOL. |

| I did that once too when I was a kid. It hurt like hell and more, but if I remember right the ulcer got nipped off. Since than I became a bit more of a wimp and found out about corlan pellets, and they seem to work for me. |

| I am using Cordosyl anti bacterial mouthwash at the moment,brought relief after the first day of use.I have been using it before , so this really works for me,thank goodness.After the fourth day the ulcer is still at the side of my tongue,but without the pain! |
