Those who has reported mouth ulcer, are you suffering from Acid reflux. I was told that this medicine can cause acidity. Probably that could be the cause. You may consider taking anti acidity medicine along with it.

I was also given Arcoxia for very bad neck and head pain, after 4/5 days I have started to have really bad ulcers in my mouth and pain in the back of my throat, I imagine to be another ulcer! I have stopped taking the pills and am now treating the very painful ulcers I have. Thanks for this info.

This is the only drug that has given me relief from a herniated disc. No side effects that I can tell.

I was prescribed Arcoxia from a clinic in Singapore and only took one and stopped after reading the side affects. I typically ignore them be wise I normally don't get affected. But when I read many people were getting mouth ulcers I went to ibuprofren. 7 days later I'm getting mouth ulcers under my tongue, cheek, and what feels like a sore throat. It's no wonder the FDA has not approves this piece of sh#t drug. Recommend not taking it and suggest ibuprofren.

I found Arcoxia to be fantastic it helps with my arthritis without any ill effects whatsoever My Dr has now told me that my health authority finds it too expensive to prescribe so now i am back to the unbearable pain and the inability to walk more than a few steps

I was prescribed arcoxia 120mg almost 2 years ago for severe period pain when nothing else seemed to be working. It has been great - I am able to function, I barely get any cramps (a nice change) and I am no longer needing to take a lot of sick days. Plus, I havent had any side effects.. something I was worried about after reading the long list of side effects on the packet (also something the doctor had neglected to tell me about).

I have also been getting occasional mouth ulcers since taking Arcoxia, but the worst symptom seems to be itchy legs and forearms.
I spoke to the doctor and she says it can't be the Arcoxia - if it was my whole body would be itching. Does this sound right? has anybody else had itching only on the legs and/or forearms?

I was prescribed Arcoxia for pain relief (arthritis) and mouth ulcer pain, quite quicklt strange looking marks appeared on my face, another person told me the drug could cause many side effects including Lichen Planus which is an allergy related symptom, I stopped them immediately and about a week later the strange markings faded, I will watch in future - what I swallow.

I was prescribed Arcoxia few days ago as a painkiller to relieve my headaches. A day after that, two mouth ulcers started developing in both sides of inner cheeks. It has been 3 days since I've stopped taking it. My concerns are still persisting and to top it off, I have been seeing blood in the toilet bowl whenever I need to take a dump. It is to the extent that I feel weakened after every episode in the toilet and that I can't see my stool anymore. All I see is blood now. Now I fear making toilet trips to relieve myself.

There is loads of information on this site, but people just don't seem to search for it. If you click on the search icon, and type "nsaid" in the box, you will see that NSAIDs can be very bad for people who are susceptible to mouth ulcers/canker sores.

Careful be very carful, I started taking arcoxia because a have a back pain episode ( Sciatica) to help with the pain, when some days after taking the first pills ulcers started to apper the most vicious i ever had, I got 5 of them and a some point the pain in the mouth was worse that in my back, i stopped taken it an used Bonjela Once and is getting better. My advice if you are taken arcoxia and the ulcers start appering ask for another anti inflammatory. You have been warned
