This problem (mouth ulcers) has been going on for me for years. I suspected it was from eating pineapple. What a bummer because I love pineapple. Worst ulcer ever this week. Canít hardly open my mouth my side or edge of my tongue towards towards my throat likes like I chewed it up. After searching Webb and this site all is now confirmed.

Pineapple / OJ / tomato juice, I avoid them all unless very diluted.

Pineapples are totally a cause for me. I canít even drink OJ, and if I do I have to immediately drink water afterwards to wash away any residue to keep from getting ulcers on my hard palate the size of half dollars! OUCH!

pineapples/juice are also a trigger for me along with tomatoes, vitamin c and citrus
fruits. I also need to avoid nuts, especially walnuts. It really does help to avoid
individual triggers.

I posted a message here in Feb to say that I suspected pineapples to the trigger for my ulcers. Have not had pineapple or pineapple juice since then (both of which I used to enjoy and consumed quite often). Now been completely clear of mouth ulcers since Feb - almost unprecedented and bliss!
