I've found pyralvex by far the most effective mouth ulcer cure for your common easy to access mouth ulcer. Unfortunately I regularly get afflicted by ones in the holes where my tonsils used to be and the brush won't reach there!

I have been using Pyralvex for a while now, and i found that it greatly helps in shortening the lifespan of the ulcer. It ofcousre stings when i first apply it but afterwards ahhhhhhh the relief. I usually apply it 3 to 4 times a day and twice during each application. Smaller ulcers heal in 2 days or 3 however big ones (like the one i currently have) take much longer, its been 4 days and the ulcer is as presistant as ever. I will wait for 3 more days to see how it goes.
when i brush my teeth i tend to gargle with Listerine ( it also stings when it comes in contact with the ulcer) so i have been using both pyralvex and listerine to combat this painful ulcer.

Do not give to children or adolescents under the age of 16 years. This is because there is a possible link between salicylates and Reye’s syndrome when given to children. Reye’s syndrome is a very rare disease which affects the brain and liver and can be fatal.

My daughter and I both suffer regularly from moth ulcers, she was given Pyralvex by a doctor while on holiday in Greece. She Brought one home for me to try as she was so impressed with the treatment it is the best holiday gift she could of ever brought me. I recoment you put it on as soon as you feel the start of an ulcer or cold sore put it on before and after meals .Hope I can get a replacement here in UK when it runs out, don't forget you should always get any soreness in your mouth that will not heal checked out by your doctor or dentist.

Pyralvex is somehow a pain reliever as the active ingredients in it, anthraquinone and salicylic acid, have anti-inflammatory properties which reduce the swelling around the mouth ulcer. Less swelling, less pain. And it also has some antimicrobial effect which can help prevent infections. Pyralvex does sting a lot after application, but that should go away within a minute or two.

I get Ulcers on my hard palate and it is so painful. I use Pyralvex, but I read it is only a pain reliever and not a cure. Is it true?

You can purchase pyralvex in UK at most chemists. Though not cheap. Been using for years - first found it in Thailand had tooth abcess and pharmacist recommended it. brilliant, it worked so have continued using it ever since for mouth ulcers and cold sores. usually takes 24/48 hrs to clear them.

I agree it does have an effect, but is not instant as the first poster suggests if you have huge regular ulcers on your tongue! I have consumed a bucketload of it and assume its ok to overdose as its base is the rhubarb root, so no harm done! Personally I find it stings like h..l, but seems to have a short-lived pain-relief effect.Definitelt recommended for small,or multiple ulcers!!

I used to use it when I lived in Hong Kong, it was easy to buy it there. Since returning to UK I can only buy it online. It is a wonderful product, used it on myself and my teenagers. Nothing works quite as well.

Just bought some Pyralvex this week from a German pharmacy (used to use Bonjela in the UK) and have been using it maybe twice or three times a day...already it has really helped, ulcer (small) almost gone! :)
Think it is really fab, and so much easier using the brush than trying to put cream on (having to wash hands very thoroughly etc.). (twitter - theveganone)

I often get an ulcer on the end of my tongue, for no particular reason! I haven’t tried lysine but will give it a go. I swear by painting Pyralvex onto the affected area. A real tingling sensation occurs when you put it on but it is brilliant. My last bottle I bought was from Ibiza when I had an ulcer appear whilst on holiday. Planning to go to Boots and see if I can get any in England as I am running out.

suggetion: if you use pyralvex wash your hands before using it , paint it the ulcer and wait one minute and paint again, wait one minute more and paint... and dont it for 15 minutes so this will dry the problem..
do this 4 times a day... as this will dry it from the first day you use it try to remove the parts that WANT TO GET RELEASED.. SMOOTHLY AND WITHOUT FORCING with the same brush of PYRALVEX ... I have to do this because my ulcer is big... but if a small or medium one it will get out without any help.
I would suggest also to paint the ulcer after you wash or wet your lips (or face) to prevent any germen to get in... this is it.
I have faith in this product... and if you say that it doesnt work for you is because you were doing something wrong.
My family used this product like 30 years with plenty of satisfaction. You can bank on it!!!
Follow the steps and anything will be OK
